Format:
18 holes of individual stroke play. Contestants will play from the BLUE tee yardages (see Yardage Sheet). The low individual scores will advance to the California Amateur Championship at Monterey Peninsula Country Club on June 24 – 29, 2019.
Note:
The final number of spots and alternates will be announced by the Committee on the day of the qualifier. Any play-offs will take place immediately after the conclusion of play for the last qualifying spot and order of alternates.
Competition Schedule:
Please note that due to course logistics play will begin on holes #1 and #6 beginning at 7:30 AM. Please click here for groupings and starting times. Players should be at their assigned tee 10 minutes prior to their starting time.
Practice Round Information:
Practice rounds are available to contestants only based on availability. Green fees: $70 on weekdays and $95 on weekends; cart fee: $18. Please call the Pro Shop to arrange for practice round tee times and identify yourself as a California Amateur Qualifying participant. Carts are allowed for practice rounds only.
Automotive Transportation:
Automotive transportation is prohibited. Players and caddies must walk. Pull carts are permitted. SPECTATOR CARTS ARE PROHIBITED.
Pro Shop & Range:
Pro shop and driving range will open at 6:30AM.
Payment Information:
Cash and major credit cards accepted.
Food and Beverage Information:
The snack bar on the 9th hole will open at 8:00 AM and remain open until the conclusion of play. The clubhouse will not be open to players or spectators. The snack bar will accept cash only.
Additional Information:
Prior to the first day of the event, you must make yourself familiar with the Regulations and Policies, (including 2019 CGA Hard Card and 2019 CGA Pace of Play Policy).
